“After all the sacrifices I made for you, you treat me like this?”

“My life would be totally different, but my father did this to me… my mother told me that…”

“After all I´ve done for you, how could you…”

Who haven´t heard similar phrases in his life? But the truth is when we get hooked on emotions, we get hooked on drama, we become slaves and it takes our power away from us. I admit that sometimes I also get hooked on these emotions…

Many times I got irritated when people didn´t meet my expectations. So, I was trying to change others in order to be happy… The more I tried, the more conflicts I had with people around me. The more peace I was looking for in the outside, the least inner peace I was experiencing. Finally, I realized that if I actually want to stop conflict with others, if I want to bring peace and harmony in my relations and in this world, then I must first stop the war inside me. The moment my internal war ends, that very moment will be the beginning of the end of conflicts with people around me.

So when I felt disturbed by a conflict among my friends or family, I just asked myself: “Have I stopped the fight taking place inside my head? Is my inner conflict over?”

“The fact is that fighting your friends and family is reminding you to investigate the fights within yourself and to remember the truth. People say that they don´t like any conflict at home, but out of ignorance they keep strengthening the conflict inside themselves by feeding it with malicious thoughts. You have to achieve inner peace before you can achieve outer peace.” ~Sirshree

A few weeks ago, I participated in a radio program with D. Ramiro Calle who asked a question that really petrified me: “If thoughts could kill, who among us would be alive today?“. It´s a disturbing question, don´t you think? Please, stop the war in your head, and enjoy the peace…

How to Bond Better With Your Loved Ones this Christmas

I have just read a great anecdote by Dr. Wayne Dyer that I would love to share with you. It´s shows how to avoid the holiday blues, stress and loneliness during this time of the year.

When the holiday season arrived, Dr. Dyer was expecting certain relatives to make their annual appearance. As the time went by, he started to feel a sense of increasing dread. Who didn´t feel that way sometime?

“Far too many of us suffer from the pain of family get-togethers, but it doesn´t have to be that way.

Somehow we allow the expectations and demands of our family members to be the source of so much unhappiness and stress, when what we really want is to be authentically ourselves and at peace with our relatives. The conflict seems too often to be a choice between being authentic, which means no peace with certain relatives, or having peace at the price of being inauthentic. Being peaceful and authentic can define your relationship with your relatives. First, though, you may have to assess your relationship with the closest relative of all – you”.

How to recapture the true spirit of Christmas, Hanukkah, and the New Year

Everything starts with a thought so “in order to change the nature of family relationships, you’ll have to change your mind about them and consider that you are the source of the anguish in your relationships, rather than the individual whom you’ve pegged as the most outrageous, the most despicable, or the most infuriating.

Over the years, all of these individuals have been treating you exactly as you’ve allowed them to with your reactions and behaviors. This can miraculously change when you choose to be at peace with everyone in your life—most particularly, your relatives”.

The outer world is just a reflection of your inner world

The world is a mirror of your mind… So, if in your inner dialogue you focalize on what’s annoying about your loved ones, that’s what you’ll perceive. If in your inner speech you focus on what is wrong about them, that´s exactly how your relationship with them will be. But if you change your inner speach to: “I am authentic and peaceful with my family members”, then peace is what you will experience – even if that person continues to act exactly the way he or she has always been.

The key to having peace in all your family relationships is forgiveness

“The key to having peace in all your family relationships is forgiveness. Your relatives are simply doing what they’ve been taught to do over a lifetime, and the lifetimes of many of their ancestors. Shower them with understanding and forgiveness from your heart. Rather than being in a state of non-peace concerning any family members, say a prayer of gratitude for their presence in your life and all that they have come to teach you”.

Let go and let God

Chances are great that you’ll see powerful changes in your family members as you teach them with your actions how you want to be treated.

“But if they don’t change, and if they continue their non-peaceful ways, let go of your need to see them transformed. It all works in divine order, and the saying Let go and let God guarantees your own peace, and you dramatically increase the odds of helping others to do the same”.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

The holiday season generally is a time when distance between human hearts shortens. The festive atmosphere warms the hearts and old quarrels seem to melt.

Thanksgiving Day calls us to appreciate all the blessings we receive daily. Let´s express our gratitude during the holiday time for all the people in our lives. All: the “good” ones and the “difficult” too.

“Love your enemies… because they help you grow.” (Buddha)

There’s no denying some relationships are more challenging than others, but through each we learn some valuable lessons. Lessons that help us grow, and help others to grow too. Every relationship teaches us something about forgiving, about loving oneself and others, about taking care of ourselves and others, about communicating better, about trusting in our inner wisdom, about when to let go…

Instead of getting angry, criticizing or quarrelling, ask yourself: “What lesson brings this person into my life?”. And be grateful for this person showing in your life, for being your teacher.

“Of all the treasures in life, there is nothing better than giving a person a piece of your heart” (Unknown)

Show gratitude to people in your life:

Be generous with your affection. Be generous with kisses, hugs, pats on the back and handshakes. These small actions will demonstrate your love and appreciation to people around you.

Be generous with your compliments. A simple and sincere “This is the best turkey I´ve ever had”, “I love the way you sing” or “I love the sweater you made for me” can change someone´s day. Say something nice to people everyday.

Ask them about their lives instead of always being all business. Show them a real interest in who they are as people, what is important to them.

Fully listen to what they have to say. Listen closely – without interrupting, nor yawning, nor criticizing. Resist the temptation to criticize or correct them. Just listen.

Smile. Make people around you say: “I love laughing with you”.

Write a thankyou note. That might be a simple “Thank you for helping me”, or “thank you for being in my life”… A small detail like this can be remembered for a lifetime.

Be kind. The easiest way to make people feel good is to say “Hello” and “Thank you”. Remember life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away.

Gratitude helps us tap into the power of Now and to be truly happy. It´s the key to living life fully as it helps us to become aware of all the blessings we receive. And the greatest blessings in our lives are the people around us. Look for ways of bringing people together all year around not just during holidays.

When we act in a kind and selfless way, wonderful things start to happen. There is a light in the eyes of a person who receives your act of kindness, and an sudden warmth fills up hearts of both, giver and receiver.
Simple Wisdom on Finding Happiness: Have You Fallen Into the Success Trap?

Treat yourself as if you already are what you’d like to become. You are it all already. (Wayne Dyer)

There is something very interesting that happens to a human being. At the moment he is born – even before – a plan is being made for him.

First, there are the ideals of his parents: “My son will be a great doctor like his father”, “He will be a famous musician”, “I want my son to have all the things I couldn’t afford“…

Then, society has also plans for him: the child goes to school and starts his process of preparation. He has to be prepared for life! He has to become a man!

Later on the child himself starts defining what he wants to be in life: he writes his own scripts by taking a little bit from here… and a little bit from there… from all the models he has known up until that moment.

And, without even realizing it, he enters into the rat race of life.

This race is a constant struggle to become “someone“, to become a character we are interpreting in Theatre of Life. The character based on considerations of what is right and what is wrong, and on judgments about what a successful life means. So the whole life transforms into an attempt to become this “someone”.

This is what so often is called “being successful in life”: to become who we have planned to become. If you manage to accomplish it, you will be acknowledged as someone who did a great job in life, an upstanding citizen… It doesn´t really matter if success means building an empire, having a big family or looking after sick and poor people; because far more important is the self-acknowledgment. Our character was designed by our ego. We are interpreting the script written by our ego who is trying that we achieve success in life.

Until we don´t accomplish to become this false ideal, we are being overwhelmed with sorrow, self rejection and guilt of not being yet that “someone”. We cannot find peace until we achieve it! We feel frustrated, unhappy and dissatisfied with our lives and with ourselves. And we dream with how wonderful it will be: “when we finish our degree”, “when we find the job we desire”, “when we pay off the mortgage”, “when we meet our half-orange”, “when our children will got married”, “when the problem we have will finally end…” etc.

Beware of the success trap! It´s based on judgments. It denies who you really are and it hides your true Essence under many layers, many roles you are interpreting in your life: being a good father, being a good son, being a good spouse, being a good professional…

Look at the lion. He is resting in the steppe – his majesty, the sky and the horizon form a perfect picture. When he was born, he learned everything he needed without making any effort of “becoming a lion”. The Nature took care of everything – he was always living in harmony, balance, peace and fulfillment.

God wants us to recognize that we are divinity in material form, already perfect, already wonderful. By accepting our greatness, we eliminate the struggle of life stemming from internal debate about whether we ‘deserve’ this or that. (Neale Donald Walsch)

And what about you? How much “weigh of success” are you bearing in your life? What type of roles have you interpreted? In which of them did you feel trapped? Leave your comment below.

Ho´Oponopono and Money

When you say: “I’ve done everything in my power and I still have economic problems“, then you should try Ho’oponopono.

However, I have to warn you that Ho’oponopono is not used to fulfill your desires. It´s not Aladdin’s magic lamp! but a simple and yet very powerful tool that can transform your live. Let me explain some basic terms of this practice:

Ho´Oponopono – is the ancient Hawaiian system of healing, problem solving, forgiveness and transformation. In Hawaiian the word means “to make right or to rectify an error.” An error is a memory replaying in the subconscious mind.

Memories, errors – information, judgments and opinions, thoughts – everything that doesn´t come from the Divine, but that is passed down from our family, ancestors, past lives, or that is picked up like virus which attach itself to human beings filling our subconscious minds with fever, misinformation, chaos and garbage…

Cleaning – is the process of neutralizing and deleting the memories from our conscious mind by using Ho´Oponopono tools such as “I´m sorry, Please forgive me, I love you, Thank you“. Thereby, by cleaning we open and allow the Divine to neutralize the memories, solving conflicts within us and restoring our inner peace. There are many Ho’oponopono tools – whichever you choose to use, they all express your openness to the Divine Love to transform your problems into Pure Light.

What happens when you use Ho´Oponopono

Dr. Hew Len said that “Ho’oponopono is not easy because it requires a commitment“. It requires understanding that everything that happens in our lives is a wonderful opportunity to clean and eliminate the memories that exist in our subconscious. It requires understanding that we are 100% responsible (not guilty!) for everything that ocurrs in our lives. So, whenever I receive emails from our readers with words like: “I face loosing my home”, “I cannot find work,” “I have a lot of debts”, etc. – I begin to clean: I’m sorry for whatever’s going on in me that is causing this problem.

When I clean the “problem” that appears in my life, inner peace and balance is restored within me. I clean the memories that separate me from the Devine.

When I let go of all my beliefs, emotional baggage, judgments, desires and expectations, I am opening myself to the inspiration of the Divine; and I receive perfect solutions for my “problems” I would never have thought of.

How to clean with Ho´Oponopono

The peace you experiment when you first begin to use Ho´Oponopono needs to be sustained by constant cleaning. Whenever a doubt or worry about your financial situation creeps in, just cleanse on those thoughts until you feel that inner peace is restored in your heart.

Only when your mind is free from worry and fear, you can hear the inspiration with the right answers for your situation. Clean and trust, trust, trust… Concentrate on cleaning no matter how things appear on the outside. Remember to have no expectations. Perhaps what you “expect to happen” is not perfect nor right for you. Maybe there are better things coming to your life… Just clean and trust.

Being grateful for your problems

It may seem a crazy idea to be grateful for your financial concerns. But as Prot said:

“The universe will expand, then it will collapse back on itself, then will expand again. It will repeat this process forever. What you don’t know is that when the universe expands again, everything will be as it is now. Whatever mistakes you make this time around, you will live through on your next pass. Every mistake you make, you will live through again, & again, forever. So my advice to you is to get it right this time around. Because this time is all you have“.

So, this is The Opportunity you have to clean your memory of economic problems, so you don´t have to repeat them again. Be thankful for all the problems you have in your life. And clean, what else can you do? You can use your energy to imagine the worst; you can fill your days with ongoing worry… or you can practice Ho’oponopono, restore inner peace and receive inspiration with the perfect solution for you.

Don´t think that your little cleaning cannot change the world. Remember, you don´t practice Ho’oponopono to change the world, but to restore your inner peace. Because if you are ok, everybody will be ok. Peace starts with you. When you clean a memory in yourself, you also erase it from the collective unconscious. Each time you think that your cleaning is “too small“, just clean this thought. You are not small. You can make a big change in the world just by cleaning.

Each week, we receive emails describing “miracles” that occur in your lives after our Free Ho’Oponopono Healing Group (each Tuesday night). Thank you so much for your feed back.
The Power of Gratitude: 20 Things to Be Thankful for in Life

“I have the choice to be angry at God for what I don´t have or be thankful for what I do have” (Nick Vujicic)

How often do you stop for a minute to appreciate what you have in life?

As a child, I took many things for granted. After all, I was just a little girl and my world was to go to school, play with my friends and enjoy life.)

As time went by, I began to appreciate the things around me and I realize that many things that I considered as “normal” actually were gifts. For example, there are countries in the world where education is not a right … I also realized that peace and security aren´t standards on this planet…

Sometimes, when we encounter difficulties in our life, it is easy to feel bad, it’s easy to get angry with God and the whole universe that things do not go as we wanted. However, I always try to remind me that, despite how bad the situation may seem, there are thousands of things I can be thankful in my life.

“We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.” ~Cynthia Ozick

I´ve prepared a short list of things I am thankful for (and I usually take for granted). I’m sure as you read through this list, you’ll remember more things we can be grateful for now. If you want to, you can add them below in the comments section. I would love to read them.

The things you can be grateful for in your life:

Letting Go and Moving Forward: Lessons From a Monk (Zen Story)

“Resentment or grudges do no harm to the person against whom you hold these feelings but every day and every night of your life, they are eating at you.” ~Norman Vincent Peale

We experience thousands of thoughts each and every minute of our life, but we have the power and ability to either entertain them or let go of them. And what that means that any negative thought that is persisting in our mind is there because we are allowing it to be there. Because we have the ability to either keep or delete them from our mind. It´s a lot like the old zen story of the two monks that were on a journey. They come to a river, and by this river there is a very beautiful woman who says:

“Please, would one of you kind monks carry me over to the other side? The current is too swift, the water is too deep…” And the two monks look at one another, because they had taken the secret vow to not even touch a woman.

The older monk, without ever saying a word, bend down, picked up the woman, carried her across the river, put her down on the other side, and the two monks carried on the journey. And the younger monk is just shocked, he can´t believe what has just happened. An hour goes by and not a word is said between them. Two hours go by not a word is said between the two. Three hours, four hours go by… and the younger monk can take any more and finally he turns to the older monk and says:

“How could you have done that? How could you have carried the woman over the river?” And the older monk looks at him and he is all surprised: “Oh, are you still carrying her? I put her down four hours ago”

And the question I would like to ask you is how much are you carrying around inside you that you should have put down a long time ago? When will you let go and move forward? How many mistakes, errors, problems, difficulties, rods not taken, how much junk are you carrying around inside you that you should have put down a long time ago?? And how long are you going to carry this junk inside you? Your whole life??

Any negative thought that is persisting in your mind is there because you are allowing it to be there.
