Aiming To A Better You

“And you? When will you begin that long journey into yourself?” (Rumi)

All my life I was constantly evolving, learning and always aiming to become better. No, I´m not a perfectionist but I truly believe that in nature everything is either growing or dying

“If you want the best the world has to offer, offer the world your best.” (Neale Donald Walsch)

For some it might seem like a contradiction: how can you truly value and love yourself if you are aiming to become better? I think, it depends on how you look at it. Look at your life as a whole, as a journey. Each and every moment, with every choice you make, you are determining who you want to be. You conquer yourself to become the Best Possible You, so you can offer your unique talents to others.

“Go ahead and choose being better—but not better than others; rather, better than you were before. Go ahead and choose having more, but only so that you have more to give. And yes, choose “knowing how” and “knowing why”—so that you can share all knowledge with others” (Neale Donald Walsch)

But, please, remember to be gentle with yourself; aim to Be More without undermining the beauty of who you are in this moment. Recognize all you have learnt in your life and don´t condemn yourself for your mistakes. They were your best teachers. Honor who you are today, all your talents, your singularity… Believe me, this world wouldn´t be the same without you.

And if you get overwhelmed by the little voice in your hear, remember you are important, you make a difference with your presence and with what you choose to do right now.

So today’s question to you is: What did you learn today to continue your growing? How did you contribute to others? Share your wisdom below and let others grow with your experience.

Your optimism drives me to be a better person just by reading your stories. Thank you Karolina

Totally agree Tanisha. As Barbara de Angelis said: “The journey between who you once were, and who you are now becoming, is where the dance of life really takes place.”

Totally aree. You need a goal to be going somewhere… But without being happy with who you are in this moment, there is no way you can offer the world your best.
