If you feel like your life is hard and full of obstacles you might be interested in The Sedona Method. Much of the effort in your life comes from your own opposition and resistance to what is right now.
The Sedona Method: Release Your Resistance
But what exactly is resistance? It´s simple: Each time when someone else tells you what to do, automatically you feel the opposition inside of you. Even if it´s something you might enjoy doing. You understand what I mean, right? But what is much more subtle and more difficult to discover is when you tell yourself you should do something automatically the resistance appear, even though it´s beneficial to you and even though you like the activity.
The Sedona Method helps you to let go of the resistance that prevents you from being, doing or having what you want. It helps you to release all that prevents you from flowing in your daily life.
Let´s illustrate this idea with some example: Let´s suppose that you like jogging. You fell great while running; your life improves in every aspect: you forget about the problems, you relax; you fell more invigorated, more fit and vital… You decide to jog at least 3 times per week; and in that precise moment something happens: the conflict between “I want to” and “I have to” appears. You resist jogging because… it´s raining today, I have a terrible headache, etc. And maybe you will go jogging despite this inner opposition, but still, you will feel it inside of you.
The resistance is very subtle. Each time when you think there is something you “have to do” or you “should do”, it will appear. And this is the mail cause that your life seems so hard, and not easy and flowing. Release your resistance with the Sedona Method and the blessings of life start flowing to you. You´ll be amazed little by little you will hear less this little voice saying “I can´t”.
If you want to just push it away or suppress all “should-s” and “shouldn´t-s”, the first thing that might happen is that you will oppose to it as well. Why? Because once again you are trying to force yourself. So as a first step of letting go of resistance, allow yourself to feel the resistance when it appears…
Stop “shoulds” and “shouldn’ts” on yourself. Stop making your own life difficult.
