If Thoughts Could Kill, Who Among Us Would Be Alive Today

Breathe

“After all the sacrifices I made for you, you treat me like this?”

“My life would be totally different, but my father did this to me… my mother told me that…”

“I do not understand how he could do this to me…”

“After all I´ve done for you, how could you…”

Who haven´t heard similar phrases in his life? But the truth is when we get hooked on emotions, we get hooked on drama, we become slaves and it takes our power away from us. Continue reading

How to Bond Better With Your Loved Ones this Christmas

How to Bond Better With Your Loved Ones this Christmas

How to Bond Better With Your Loved Ones this Christmas

I have just read a great anecdote by Dr. Wayne Dyer that I would love to share with you. It´s shows how to avoid the holiday blues, stress and loneliness during this time of the year.

When the holiday season arrived, Dr. Dyer was expecting certain relatives to make their annual appearance. As the time went by, he started to feel a sense of increasing dread. Who didn´t feel that way sometime?

“Far too many of us suffer from the pain of family get-togethers, but it doesn´t have to be that way.

Somehow we allow the expectations and demands of our family members to be the source of so much unhappiness and stress, when what we really want is to be authentically ourselves and at peace with our relatives. The conflict seems too often to Continue reading

Simple Wisdom on Finding Happiness: Have You Fallen Into the Success Trap?

Simple Wisdom on Finding Happiness: Have You Fallen Into the Success Trap?

Treat yourself as if you already are what you’d like to become. You are it all already.  (Wayne Dyer)

There is something very interesting that happens to a human being. At the moment he is born – even before – a plan is being made for him.

First, there are the ideals of his parents: “My son will be a great doctor like his father”, “He will be a famous musician”, “I want my son to have all the things I couldn’t afford“…

Then, society has also plans for him: the child goes to school and starts his process of preparation. He has to be prepared for life! He has to become a man!

Later on the child himself starts defining what he wants to be in life: he writes his own scripts by taking a little bit from here… and a little bit from there… from all the models he has known up until that moment.  Continue reading

Ho´Oponopono and Money

When you say: “I’ve done everything in my power and I still have economic problems“, then you should try Ho’oponopono.

However, I have to warn you that Ho’oponopono is not used to fulfill your desires. It´s not Aladdin’s magic lamp! but a simple and yet very powerful tool that can transform your live. Let me explain some basic terms of this practice:

Ho´Oponopono – is the ancient Hawaiian system of healing, problem solving, forgiveness and transformation. In Hawaiian the word means “to make right or to rectify an error.” An error is a memory replaying in the subconscious mind.

Memories, errors – information, judgments and opinions, thoughts – everything that doesn´t come from the Divine, but that is passed down from our family, ancestors, past lives, or that is  Continue reading

Master, Who Am I? (Zen Story)

Disciple: Master, who am I?

Master: There’s a voice inside your head. This voice is always thinking… thinking… judging everything that happens. This voice makes decisions, interprets situations in a different way than others do… This voice is doing its best.

Disciple: This voice is who I am?

Master: Tell me, where does this voice come from?

The Power of Gratitude: 20 Things to Be Thankful for in Life

The Power of Gratitude

The Power of Gratitude: 20 Things to Be Thankful for in Life

“I have the choice to be angry at God for what I don´t have or be thankful for what I do have” (Nick Vujicic)

How often do you stop for a minute to appreciate what you have in life?

As a child, I took many things for granted. After all, I was just a little girl and my world was to go to school, play with my friends and enjoy life.)

As time went by, I began to appreciate the things around me and I realize that many things that I considered as “normal” actually were gifts. For example, there are countries in the world where education is not a right … I also realized that peace and security aren´t standards on this planet…

Sometimes, when we encounter difficulties in our life, it is easy to feel bad, it’s easy to get angry with God and the whole universe that things do not go as we wanted. However, I always try to remind me that, despite how bad the situation may seem, there are thousands of things I can be thankful in my life. Continue reading

Letting Go and Moving Forward: Lessons From a Monk

Letting Go and Moving Forward: Lessons From a Monk (Zen Story)

“Resentment or grudges do no harm to the person against whom you hold these feelings but every day and every night of your life, they are eating at you.” ~Norman Vincent Peale

We experience thousands of thoughts each and every minute of our life, but we have the power and ability to either entertain them or let go of them. And what that means that any negative thought that is persisting in our mind is there because we are allowing it to be there. Because we have the ability to either keep or delete them from our mind. It´s a lot like the old zen story of the two monks that were on a journey. They come to a river, and by this river there is a very beautiful woman who says: Continue reading
